who are you?

In all seriousness, I believe that MSFT is talking to Sony about it, but would certainly not telegraph this huge news to current and near future 360 owners -- so I agree with you.

especially in relation to remote playing Jeopardy (love it) but I thought that rampant cheating would really kill the idea until this snippet caught my eye -

-- "Admittedly, for this idea to work the Broadcast Gaming set-top would have to include a lot of hardware for a cheap price. and remember with ip's like Halo and Forza, the Lionhead and Rare studios etc.., they can build from those and *easily acquire other studios as you eluded by just buying them lol.

Look, I'm not saying it's going to happen, but with Sony's strong and proven reputation as a solid hardware manufacturer, it would alleviate the money and time for MSFT in investing in new technologies, R&D, etc....

All they would have to concentrate on would be software, which i...

eventually upgrade to the CELL Broadband Engine?

Will the PS3 eventually become the frontrunning prototype of the whole "uni-console" discussions?

Will we see Microsoft eventually being relegated to making software only, a la SEGA? This has to be a huge technological scar burned into MSFT's psyche, but as the saying goes, "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.."

Questions, questions, questions....

its home territory, especially with all of the recently heightened bad publicity abound. The PS3 still looks to be doing quite well despite the small slowdown, in the midst of the slagging U.S. economy and news of new models (including colors) possibly flooding the market.

People rant and rave about fanboys and even write articles about the subject (obviously), but without fanboys most of these sites wouldn't be enjoying the bountiful harvest, nor (especially N4G) benefit immensely from the driving of hit counters, ad hits, and digg traffic, etc.. to their sites.

It's a two way street.

e.) Helped get one of the worst presidents in American history elected in 2004.

This is what Madden is talking about re: McCain flip flop. In Nov 2007 he was totally against it. After Romney endorsement -- he's all for it. Look at it yourself.

And if you think Reagan didn't push for amnesty, you might want to take some history courses.
